One of Royston's most iconic buildings, Banyers House in Melbourn Street, re opened its doors in December 2016. Situated within easy walking distance of the town centre, this Grade II listed Georgian building has been transformed into a destination venue with a dedicated car park, 90-seat restaurant, extensive bar area and boutique-style bedrooms.
Accommodation
Their 9 boutique-style, en-suite bedrooms have been sympathetically designed and comfortably furnished to reflect the building's unique characteristics whilst providing those essential personal touches that make you feel at home. In addition to the usual amenities of a refeshments tray, a hairdryer and smart HD TV, all nine rooms exceed expectations by offering GHD straighteners, a Roberts Radio, a Nespresso machine with coffee pods, and free superfast Wifi.
Finished to a superb standard, each en-suite bathroom contains a power shower and range of toiletries, whilst a bathrobe adds a further welcoming touch. An iron and ironing board, and tempting room service menu complete the package. Double Rooms have double beds and cannot twin.
Dining
They serve a seasonal, Mediterranean-inspired menu in the light-filled orangery and elegant dining room. Tempt yourself to try a Neapolitan pizza, freshly prepared by one of their trained pizzaiolos and cooked in their wood-fired oven, or one of their dishes cooked to order in their charcoal- fuelled Josper grill. You'll find they place great emphasis in the quality and provenance of their ingredients.
The restaurant is open from 8 am to 10 pm daily.
