The Cliffden Hotel is a magnificent property set in seven acres of beautiful gardens, perfectly situated for access to the golden stretches of the Devon Coastline. It is the ideal location from which to enjoy the natural beauty of the region. It is also situated close to several other popular holiday destinations such as Torquay and treasured local heritage sites such as Dartmoor National Park. The Cliffden is a 10-minute stroll from the Grand Pier, and the Promenade is just metres away. The Eden Project and Paignton Zoo are within easy reach, and a range of activities can be enjoyed nearby, including fishing, horse riding and hiking .The hotel has gated access to the beach and after a 200 yard stroll you are there. You can even catch a glimpse of the famous Dawlish Riveria Line from Exeter.
Accommodation
The hotel has have 47 bedrooms, some of which have sea-views or a balcony. All are unique and no two rooms are exactly the same, as you would expect in a building such as The Cliffden. Standard Rooms are equipped with a super king bed or twin beds and offer guests a generous space at the rear of the property for a comfortable stay. All rooms benefit from tea & coffee facilities, TV, Ttlephone, En-suite bathroom, hairdryer and towels.
Dining
The restaurant at The Cliffden overlooks the terrace and gardens and beynd you can see the sea. Its a relaxed and informal spot where guests and locals alike enjoy delicious food in comfortable surroundings. The menu is A la Carte plus a selection of speciality dishes, complimented with a selection of specially selected wines.

Should you fancy dining al fresco the terrace is the perfect spot to watch the ships on the horizon and is also a popular spot for afternoon tea.
This is a pet friendly hotel. There is limited availability on their rooms for pets and are offered on a first come, first served basis.
