Accommodation
Thoughtfully furnished, these classic en-suite rooms with modern amenities make for an ideal base for work or leisure. These rooms, situated on the ground and first floor of the Mews building, are just a short walk outside to the Mansion House - where you can check in at the main reception. Guest rooms feature contemporary styling and modern amenities and are thoughtfully furnished, to create a relaxing environment after a long day of work or exploration. Each elegant room has a TV, desk, tea and coffee-making facilities and free Wi-Fi access. There is also a hairdryer in each room, luxury toiletries and a safe for valuables.
Please be aware there is no lift access, room service or bar facilities in these buildings.
Dining
The 1838 Restaurant & Bar in the Mansion House is the place to come for locally sourced, seasonally-inspired menus. Enjoy a choice of country classics from a slow-roasted lamb to Casterbridge sirloin steak or smoked wood pigeon and the décor is every bit as impressive as the food. Daylight streams through the glass ceiling whilst indoor trees and plants complement the colour scheme.
Head outdoors to discover the courtyard where you can enjoy alfresco dining. Here, trees and subtle lighting create a wonderful summer setting for lazy days or romantic evenings. Bookings are recommended.
Facilities
A modern and fresh fully equipped gym, sauna and indoor swimming pool are available daily for guests to use.
The gym offers a range of cardiovascular and resistance training equipment suited to most levels of fitness.
Please note: the swimming pool will be closed from 30th October to 9th December. This is to carry out essential maintenance work and they apologise for any disappointment this may cause.
This is a pet-friendly hotel. There is limited availability of their rooms for pets and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
